TheraSol Oral Irrigant & Pre/Post Rinse
TheraSol is a low alcohol (6.4%), professional strength, highly antimicrobial irrigant and rinse. According to Loesche Labs (Univ. of MI), TheraSol killed every test organism on contact, including the “red” group (P. gingivalis, T. denticola, and T. forsythus). Originally intended for clinical use, most professionals also dispense it for routine home care because, despite its remarkable efficacy, it tastes great and never stains the teeth, leaving them feeling sparkling clean and prophy smooth.
Recommended Home Usage
General Usage: Sulcular or modified Bass brushing is better than rinsing. Rinsing only penetrates 2/10’s mm into the sulcus compared to 4 mm.!
Shallow Pockets (<4mm) Dip a toothbrush, Proxibrush, Sulca Brush, etc. into TheraSol or take a small sip and then brush. TheraSol won’t harm electric toothbrushes or oral irrigators.
Deep Pockets (>4mm) Use a Cannula Adaptor (Page X) or Pocket Care (Page X) to irrigate to the full pocket depth.

How Dispensed
TheraSol isn’t sold in retail stores. Most practices dispense TheraSol directly to their patients. Alternatively, free Patient Catalogs are available for patients to order direct by phone or website. OraTec will bill and ship directly to your patient.
How Supplied
Ready to Use (Premixed) TheraSol is available in 4, 16 & 64 oz. bottles. It’s also available as a money-saving concentrate in 16 and 64 oz. bottles. Each bottle of highly concentrated TheraSol makes 9 bottles of ready-to-use TheraSol. First Concentrate orders must include the Mixing/Storage bottle for accurate dilution. Used daily with a toothbrush, one 16 oz. bottle of ready-to-use TheraSol usually lasts about 3 months.
